Rachael will be performing at the new BEST BUY in NYC (2 Union Square East) from 4 - 5PM on Thursday Dec. 17th. Come out and listen to some new tunes, some old favorites, and get some holiday shopping done too! Hang out afterwards and get a CD signed by Rachael and meet the MPress crew.

Rachael Nominated for 5 OUTMusic Awards, To Perform At Ceremony Dec. 8December 1, 2009
Rachael has received 5 OUTMusic Award Nominations, including Outstanding Pop Song (“Too Many Women”), Outstanding Folk/Country Song (“Hunger In John”), Outstanding Jazz Song (“Site-Seeing”), Outstanding Producer (“Vertigo”), and Outstanding Songwriter (“Chandelier”).

"Tchatchkes & Latkes" Special Holiday Show!November 16, 2009
Wed. 12/23 Rachael returns to Joe’s Pub for a special holiday edition of her latest musical mishugas, “Sequins & Shpiel!” (which debuted earlier this year at Edinburgh Fringe Festival, to rave reviews). An upbeat evening of vaudevillian shtick, playful Yiddishkeit, tall tales, pianistic flair and written-on-the-spot, topical compositions. “Tchatchkes & Latkes!” will also feature several special guests including cellist Dave Eggar (Coldplay, The Who) and YouTube singing sensation Michelle Citrin (“Rosh Hashanah Girl”, “Pass The Candle”). Directed/edited by documentary filmmaker Eric Metzgar and art directed by singer/composer & all-around artiste Noe Venable, Rachael’s new video was shot in just a few hours, and was an intentionally minimalistic departure for our otherwise ungapatchked songstress.
