Fresh from a European tour behind her latest album "Blue Roses", Rachael Sage returns to SubCulture with a Spring-themed show featuring original songs of Redemption, Freedom and Renewal from her 11-album catalog. Affectionately dubbed "The Jewish Norah Jones" by The New York Times, Sage merges her colorful, often campy onstage antics with lyrical sincerity and road-tested musical chops on both piano and guitar. Her NYC-based chamber-pop band The Sequins features some of the city's finest musicians including Andy Mac (drums) and Deni Bonet (violin), plus special surprise guests; award-winning songwriter Matt Nakoa opens the show! Showtime is at 9pm on Saturday, April 18th.
